Whether you're planning a team-building session, a birthday celebration, or just a fun outing with friends, our kimchi-making workshop offers a memorable, hands-on experience that’s equal parts delicious and educational. Perfect for beginners and fermentation fans alike, this interactive session walks you through the entire kimchi-making process—from prepping fresh veggies and mixing the flavorful paste to packing your own jars of kimchi to take home. We’ll recreate the traditional communal spirit of kimjang (the Korean custom of making kimchi together), where everyone chips in—chopping, mixing, and sharing laughs as you work side-by-side. It’s a collaborative experience that builds connection and ends with a tasty reward. Want to make it extra special? We can tailor the event to suit your group’s needs—whether you’re aiming for fun, bonding, or both. Add optional team-building extras like: icebreakers; a "Guess the Kimchi" tasting challenge; and a fun kimchi facts quiz. These elements add an extra layer of fun, spark conversations, and deepen the team-building impact. Throughout the session, we’ll also explore the cultural significance of kimchi, introduce the basics of fermentation, and share tips for personalizing your batch to suit your taste. What to Bring: Two clean jars (around 500ml each) with tight-fitting lids (these can also be provided for an extra fee). An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy Your curiosity and appetite!
