Let’s Make Kimchi! – A Hands-On Fermentation Experience

Whether you’re new to fermentation or already a fan, this session will walk you through the entire process—from preparing the vegetables and mixing the paste to packing your own jars of kimchi to take home. We’ll also explore the cultural roots of kimchi - Korea's beloved fermented dish - discuss fermentation basics, and share tips for customizing your batch to suit your taste.

What to bring:

• Two clean jars (about 500ml each) with tight-fitting lids

• An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy
